Hello, Future Leaders!

The Health Economics Program (HEP) is comprehensively designed over the course of three semesters. The HEP program is a multidisciplinary program. Prospective students of the HEP program can come from all fields of study. This HEP program provides insights into the economic value of Health, particularly for individuals, families, and how it aggregates into public policies in the Health sector.

The program is multidisciplinary; therefore, HEP studies Health from various economic, behavioral, and socio-cultural aspects of society that impact the quality of individual and community Health. Prospective students can come from academia (bureaucrats), corporate (banking and insurance), and the Health industry.

Vision, Mission, and Objectives

To become a center of excellence in the field of Master’s in Health Economics, producing globally competent leaders and professionals, with a focus on developing sustainable economic solutions within the healthcare system context.

Our missions are:

  1. Provide advanced education in Health Economics that is profound and applicable, aiming to produce graduates with a deep understanding of the interplay between economics and health.
  2. Conduct high-quality research in Health Economics to generate new knowledge, contribute to effective health policies, and address economic challenges within the healthcare sector.
  3. Foster collaborations with relevant stakeholders, including governmental institutions, healthcare organizations, and the private sector, to implement innovative and sustainable economic solutions.
