About the Master of Science in Law and Development

Master of Science in Law and Development (MSHP) program is a multidisciplinary study in the field of law, social, economy and policy with accreditation status A from BAN-PT.  This interdisciplinary study is the answer to the real needs in governance, development, business and social communities that require a multi-comprehensive approach. As a study program established based on the problems and needs of the community, Master of Science in Law and Development is intended for student from various disciplines, both for new graduates and those who have experienced in the world of work or profession.

As a Multidisciplinary study, MSHP Program offers comprehensive and relevant curriculum content with innovative and up-to-date learning methods including digital-based. In terms of curriculum provided and offered courses in the fields of law, public economy, social and policy so that graduates of this program have knowledge-based leadership, expertise contributed to problem solving and the development of alternative concepts in various relevant fields. The problem-based learning (PBL) learning methods also conducted during program, that are interactive and participatory. PBL content is also contributed by students based on problems in the job or profession. Curriculum and learning methods are supported by lecturers from reputable and experienced academics and practitioner lecturers

Curriculum and Lecture System

  • The Curriculum of Master of Science in Law and Development is a multi-comprehensive and relevant curriculum indicated from course subjects, among others: Philosophy of Science and Ethics, Globalization and Sustainable Development Law of the State, Law and Society, Digital Information Regulation and Technology Transfer of Business Law and Investment Of Legal Systems, as well as Fiscal and Monetary Policy
  • The lecture system in this program uses a semester credit system (SKS). The study period is divided into four (4) semesters. In total, all SKS courses offered are 38 SKS consisting of compulsory courses, elective courses, thesis writing support courses.

Lecture Methods

  • Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methods that are interactive and participatory. This method combines teaching and module-based tutorials so that students can be independent in their studies. Module content can be contributed by students based on actual problems faced in the world of work, society and development.
  • This method is also the key to study planning. Entering the end of the first semester students have mapped publication planning, thesis with the assistance of lecturers and publication clinics, so it is expected to pass on time.
  • Lectures are conducted according to the academic calendar, with flexible time options measured and standardized.
