The Master Program of Human Resource Development Study Program was established in 1999 based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education (DirjenDikti) of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 86 / DIKTI / Kep / 1999 dated March 26, 1999. When a learning programwas firstly organized in the academic year 1999/2000, until now Human Resource Development Study Programis participated by students from various regions in Indonesia and has different profession background and different undergraduate education background.
Human Resource Development Study Programmanagement was originally under the Postgraduate Program of Airlangga University up to academic year 2007/2008. Based on the Decree of Airlangga University Rector Number 5788 / J03 / PP / 2007 On 30 July 2007 on the transfer of Master Program in Airlangga University, the management of Human Resource Development Study Program is under the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Airlangga University (FISIP Unair) and in 2011 has joined the Graduate Program as a consequence of the claim that Master Degree of Human Resource Development Study Programis a multidisciplinary program and still has 3 (three) interest inHuman Resource Development Study Program, namely:the interest in Industrial and Business, the interest in Government Study, and the interest in Family & Community Psychology. Human Resource Development Study Programhas been accredited by National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT) in 2003. Based on BAN-PT Decree No. 071 / BAN-PT / AK-II / S2 / XI / 2003, Human Resource Development Study Programis accredited with B value. -PT No. 006 / BAN-PT / Ak-VII / S2 / VII / 2009, Human Resource Development Study Programre-accreditation with the result of status of rank B.
